This policy explains how Collet App Works (the “Developer”) handles information in Music Shelf (the “App”), an Android music player designed for playing music stored on the user's device.

1. Information processed on the device

The App processes music-library information stored on the device in order to provide music playback and library features. This may include audio files, song titles, artist names, album names, album artwork, and related media information.

The App also processes launcher preferences, shelf contents, widget settings, background images, playback settings, and other App preferences selected by the user.

Music-library information, album artwork, shelf contents, background images, and App settings are processed locally on the device. The Developer does not receive this information.

2. Information transmitted by optional network features

The App does not transmit music-library information, album artwork, playback history, shelf contents, App settings, or other user data to a Developer-operated server.

The App does not require a user account.

3. Third-party services

The App does not use third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or telemetry services.

Services provided by Android or Google Play may operate independently of the App and are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

4. Permissions and special access

The App may request access to audio or media files stored on the device in order to scan the music library, display album information and artwork, and play music.

Access can be denied or revoked in Android settings. Features requiring denied access may not function.

5. Retention, deletion, and backups

Music-library information, cached album artwork, shelf contents, widgets, background settings, and other preferences remain on the device for as long as needed to provide the App.

Users can remove locally stored App data through the App where the corresponding option is available, through Android's clear-storage control, or by uninstalling the App.

A settings backup is created only when requested by the user. Backup data is stored in a location selected by the user and is not uploaded to a Developer server.

6. Security

The App contains no advertising, Developer analytics, account system, or Developer-operated telemetry.

User music and music-library information are processed locally on the device and are not uploaded to the Developer.

7. Children's privacy

The App is not designed specifically for children, and the Developer does not knowingly collect children's personal information.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated when features, laws, or service requirements change. Material changes will be announced on this page or in the App, and the last-updated date will be revised.
