This policy explains how Collet App Works (the “Developer”) handles information in Lats! (the “App”), an Android app designed exclusively for the rear display of the Unihertz Titan 2.

1. Information processed on the device

Depending on the optional features enabled by the user, the App processes selected images, media-session information and artwork, notification content, calendar names and events, battery and charging status, device orientation, and App settings.

This information is used only to provide the App’s rear-display wallpaper, clock, media display, notification notes and alerts, calendar, timer, and information-panel features. The Developer does not receive notification content, calendar content, selected images, media information, or App settings.

2. Information transmitted by optional network features

Weather

When Weather is enabled and Data access is set to Wi-Fi or Always, the city or region entered by the user is sent to Open-Meteo’s geocoding service. The resulting coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo’s weather service to retrieve current weather and forecasts. The App does not send notification content, calendar content, selected images, or App settings to Open-Meteo.

Like other Internet services, Open-Meteo may receive standard connection information such as the device’s IP address and request time.

3. Third-party services

Open-Meteo for city lookup and weather forecasts.

Information handled by those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

4. Permissions and special access

The App may request access to photos and images, calendar events, notifications, notification-listener access, the camera light, vibration, network status, and an accessibility service for the optional screen-lock feature. Access can be denied or revoked in Android settings. Features requiring denied access may not function.

The accessibility service is used only to lock the device when the user enables the corresponding rear-side-down function. It does not read screen content, enter text, observe user actions, or transmit accessibility data.

5. Retention, deletion, and backups

Feature data and preferences remain on the device for as long as needed to provide the App. Users can remove them through the App’s controls, Android’s clear-storage control, or by uninstalling the App.

A settings backup is created only when requested by the user and is written to a document location selected by the user. It is not uploaded to a Developer-operated server. The App does not provide or require a user account.

6. Security

The App contains no advertising, Developer analytics, account system, or Developer-operated telemetry. Weather traffic uses HTTPS. Android backup for the App is disabled.

7. Children's privacy

The App is not designed for children, and the Developer does not knowingly collect children’s personal information.

8. Device compatibility

The App is designed exclusively for the Unihertz Titan 2 rear display. It is not intended for use on other Android devices. Availability through Google Play does not guarantee operation on unsupported devices.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated when features, laws, or service requirements change. Material changes will be announced on this page or in the App, and the last-updated date will be revised.
